About the Author
Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist Chris Doyle received his Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Boston College, and his Masters in Architecture from Harvard University. His work has recently been featured at The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Queens Museum of Art, P.S.1, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, Socrates Sculpture Park, The Sculpture Center and as part of the New York Video Festival at Lincoln Center, as well as at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Artspace and Real Art Ways. His work has been supported by grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts, NYSCA and the Creative Capital Foundation. In 2007, he completed "The Moons," a three-screen outdoor video piece for the Kansas City's Sprint Arena.

Useful sailing information

During our sailing trip from Martinique to Venezuela we used this book especially because of the detailed and useful information about small harbours and beautyful beaches. I can recommend it very strongly.

Great crusing guide for Venezuela

I have used excellent cruising guides by Chris Doyle while sailing in the eastern caribbean. This guide for Venezuela and Bonaire appears to be equally informative. The mini-charts are clear and provide enough guidance without being cluttered. The only reason I did not give the fifth start is that I have not used the guide in the waters for which it is written - perhaps next season.

Really well written and organized. This book lives up to the great reputation that Chris Doyle has built. A great blend of sketch charts, color pictures of areas depicted in charts and good local information. I have not sailed there yet, but I feel this guide will make it much easier.
